Bang!

...and we're here!

The way we see it now, this blog is about two parallel lives.

Shahzeb will provide an insight to what goes on in (at the risk of sounding cheesy) the heart of Pakistan. The place where we have the legendary Food Street, the best Basants (kite flying festival), rich history and heritage, and most importantly, the warmest people!

I, on the other hand, will use this as an alternative to mass e-mails. It's a wonderful forum to enlighten everybody what my journey from Lahore's Food Street to Boston's chi-chi Newbury Street has been like.

Along the way, we will talk about every random thing that demands attention. Our readers must provide us with comments and ideas. Those of you who don't, should know that we are stubborn and persistent, and you will be held in an armlock till you have something to say!

Newbury street looks so dull compared to Food Street... Yay Lahore!

Beautiful pics, Feez. Did you take these?

Lahore rocks! But to be fair, that's not the best Newbury Street picture!

I wish I had taken these pictures, but I still don't have a camera. Hmph! I'm contemplating getting the Sony DSCT50 in black. Who's coming shopping with me?

going where? online? i think this is a thinly veiled attempt at starting a gift list.

Hehe - darn! I'm so transparent! Now that you know, are you getting me one?

Only if you get me the rebel... then we have a deal.

Feeza said...

Done! I would have gotten you that anyway, but I like this deal, too!

Ummm, and while we're going shopping, let's get me a couple of cool (read: expensive) bags...

That Coach bag WAS cool! It didn't look as good when held in the hands. Hmm...I'll keep an eye out for you!

Hey, welcome to the blogosphere, Feeza and Shahzeb! Since I love both places (yeah, yeah, Feeza...go ahead and call me out on it--but I DO love it!), I expect rich vignettes about the two cities. And of course--true to the spirit of blogging--random vignettes about nothing in particular as well!

Feez/Shazi: I'm sorry I haven't had the time to log on to your blog earlier. It looks great. I am glad you guys have come up with this because it will (a) keep me posted re ure life in Boston, Feez, which I would prolly not know about otherwise and (b) keep you, Shazi, occupied - you finally have somthing substantial/productive to do:p (when do i get the book u promised??)!!Oh, n I love the title and, pictures wise, Food Street definitely stands out more than Newbury Street - You can, maybe, put up another pic of Newbury Street if you think this one does not do justice to it.

PS: You guys know I don't have a "stop button" so don't mind if I over express a few things here!
